Electric Wheel Horse owners check in

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

This is my B-145 that I converted to solar power. I had it at the 2016 Big Show and plan to be there in 2017. This is the only Wheel Horse on Earth that can operate on the Moon & Mars!

Wheel Horse are now interplanetary!

Someone posted pictures of it at the show in another post in this form.

Could you do a wiki on this that explains how / what you did? Very cool!

I am toying with this concept just with a small solar battery tender for my C-105...

He has it listed for $1,400. A little on the high side.

keep in mind, batteries go for $75-100 each, x6, so if it has good batteries, it is worth up to $600 more than one without.

Im going to be paying close attention here. The only bucket list tractor I have is a C-185 electric. I desire one MUCH MUCH more than a 420. People say the D series are the "ugly ducklings" but to me its the Electrics....so darn ugly they're awesome!!

I have two C-185s, I may be looking to sell 1.

I've had this B-80 '77 for about 6 years. He's been sitting in the sun and snow for all this time, and I never once thought to restore it. My dad got it for free from a friend who was ready to toss it when the battery went and then front tires bursted. Now, I'm 15 so I didn't know what I truly had in my possesion until about 3 weeks ago. I got a battery for it, and it turns over but the rubber washer under the fuel tank snapped, so with no gas it obviouly won't run. He's a work in progress, but I can't wait to get it going again.
