alswagg 128 #1 Posted May 18, 2016 I recently picked up a nice 520 H. The hood has a couple holes in the front top for what looks like a hood badge or ornament?? All my other horses are D series, so I don't know much about these smaller 520's Did any come with a hood badge? The holes look oem as no drill markings and the paint is complete. Tankman 3,515 #2 Posted May 18, 2016 My thinking, "Previous owner must've drilled for something." Perhaps a Mack bulldog! Nice!
Nxt2doc 51 #3 Posted May 18, 2016 Mine has no hood badge. Its pretty original so I'm figuring that's the stock configuration. There is a good Pic of it that shows that hood real well in my other thread.
WVHillbilly520H 10,369 #4 Posted May 18, 2016 Do you mean above the headlights in the center of the decal stripe? Or next to the dash tower ? for the hood hold down rubbers...Jeff.
k2wilson 41 #5 Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) My 97 520-H has a wheel horse logo mounted above the grille. It's still available, ( Toro 94-3736 ). I ordered a spare, it's actually chrome plated plastic, and it sticks on with 2 sided foam tape. (peel and stick) Edited May 18, 2016 by k2wilson
