OK...8 speed, long frame, gas cap in back under seat.  Maybe a C-120ish...kind of has a "B" look also.  :)

1978 or 1979

You can see the ID plate under the dash in the 2nd photo. That will ID it.

I am guessing here...maybe mid seventies.  I see where you have holes for tail lights.  Maybe C-121  :)

It is a 1979 C111.  The Briggs engine is the clue and the ID tag on the front is 1979.  1978 was the same style but no Briggs and ID tag was on the front of the dash tower-down low

So, it is the original engine...he stated it was not original.  :)  I was thinking it looked like it belonged there. ..and it was a Briggs.  Cool.

What ID tag in the front of what are you seeing??  I do not see it.

Im pretty sure its not original it is a briggs but the cover says craftsman im assuming it came out of a sears tractor , I did have it running for awhile and drove it around ,but then it kept shutting off im thinking the fuel pump is gone

If the Briggs is original the hood should have a small "notch" in it to clear the air filter housing. It could be a GT-2500 (1981) :eusa-think: .

Also could be a (rare) SB421.

Give us the model# off that little tag and it'll end the wonder.

Sparky, I kind of like the wonder...the back and forth for the most part sheds light on what everyone has an idea about what is right...and wrong.  I have never been afraid of sticking my neck out...it is how we learn.  :)  I'm still thinking about 1978/9  C-ish.  :)

Dang, it reminds me of my B-100 with the foot rests.

Under the dash and in front of the gear shifters. I can see it in one of your pics.

You are going to need to look.  I think Mike was looking at what looks like a tag on the dash tower.  It could be on the side of the dash tower, or under the seat.  some more pictures would help...from all sides.  I think Mike is on to something.  :)  Take a bunch of pics from different angles, including the back.  Linkage stuff can help.  :)
