papaglide 541 #1 Posted April 18, 2015 I love this thing. Lots of tinkering last summer. Carb rebuild, painting the tin, cleaning the wasp nests from the cooling fins on the Kohler. She is almost there. She runs decent, a few tiny backfires so I still need some carb adjusting to do. Some wheel work to do. Probably the first times in a few years she is doing what she was made to do. Got her from Cutlass aka Shawn. Thank you sir!
squonk 38,928 #2 Posted April 18, 2015 Great weather to be out with the horses. I've been stuck inside with the flu for 3 days. Finally got outdoors for a little while today

papaglide 541 #4 Posted April 19, 2015 Rolled the yard with her for about 1.5 hours then it happened...gas dripping from the AIR FILTER???? Last summer I had issues with gas dripping from the bowl..she would flood out. Well now after 1.5 hours gas dripped from the air filter and she flooded out. I am thinking that at this stage it just might be a piece or crap got into the carb. I changed out the fuel line everywhere except for the section from the tank to the filter. Could that the problem? I thought that after an hour and a half all fuel issues would be ironed out...surprises surprises.
Wheel-N-It 2,967 #5 Posted April 19, 2015 Sometimes it takes a while (and alot of patience) to get the fuel system clean. I enjoyed the pic. I love the Black Hooods!
