cruisnblue48 783 #1 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) I've been wanting to include a 520-H stallion in my herd since seeing some run at the WHCC Show this year. So, I took a 150 total mileage road trip today and picked up this 1990 520-H from "Shallowwatersailor" John. This particular tractor was previously owned by "Cable" as well. So, we're kinda keeping it in the RedSquare community... just moved it from MD to PA. This is my 11th Wheel Horse that I have adopted since acquiring my dad's original 1962 Wheel Horse from my uncle for free just over three years ago. Five of my "horse" purchases have come from local C-list posts. I have acquired five of them from some of the nicest Wheel Horse folks here on RedSquare. So, thanks to guys like "Shallowwatersailor", "buckrancher", "fireman", Big Jake", and "Jdog_kustoms" for giving me the opportunity to grow my collection of various Wheel Horse tractors. cruisnblue48 783 #7 Posted November 29, 2014 That is correct, Eric. "Shallowwatersailor" bought it from "Cable" about 1-1/2 years ago. It shows what I would consider normal wear and tear for a 24 year old tractor. But this is a really nice tractor... seems to have been well cared for and I intend to do the same. Tickled "red" to finally own a 520-H. Love the sound of the 20hp Onan twin.
Tankman 3,515 #9 Posted November 29, 2014 Nice Horse! The only problems with your new Stallion are the TORO decals, plastic TORO air screen, the plastic TORO steering wheel cap. Other than those items a great Horse!

shallowwatersailor 3,213 #12 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) Nice Horse! The only problems with your new Stallion are the TORO decals, plastic TORO air screen, the plastic TORO steering wheel cap. Other than those items a great Horse! I did put a WHEEL HORSE logo on the engine screen while it was mine , plus a lift handle from a 417A , numerous SS screws, and other things! It is a great Horse. cruisnblue48 783 #17 Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the kind replies guys. Cable, I understand this one was yours a few years ago. It will be very well taken care of while I own it. As I mentioned to John, if you happen to get to some tractor shows in PA, particularly the WHCC show, look me up. I expect to get a lot of "cruisn" seat time.
