boovuc 1,090 #1 Posted November 28, 2014 I just had to post this little experience............... I have had my C-175 setup for blowing snow only for a some time now. It was my plow tractor since I bought it in the 1980's. Since 2008 I have always mounted the plow on my 310-8. I noticed some slipping on the 310 during my last mow of the year so I need to investigate it. (Belt or hub slip). This year, I put the plow on the 416-8 with the Onan. Wow! What a huge difference between the two and especially with the very heavy/wet 5 to 6 inches we got from that nor'ester earlier this week. I forgot how the twins and especially the Onan can drum up power under a load. Not knocking the K and Mag Kohlers! The most dependable small engines anywhere but.......wow! It was fun again to push that slop!
Bert 760 #2 Posted November 28, 2014 I know what your saying, sure if I had only one tractor it would be a single. But wow!!! the onan really is impressive when they dig down and grunt. So much power
