Jrblanke 840 #1 Posted September 4, 2014 Mounted my mid mount grader blade to the 314 last night. I was hoping to use it for removing the english ivy in my front yard. I purchased the grader blade off of craigslist for 100 bucks. It is a home made job, but is pretty heavy and I think it will work really well. I bolted some cultivator tines to it so it would rip into the ground a bit better. After using it a little bit last night, I think I am either going to have to flip the tines over so that there is only about an inch sticking below the blade, or move the threaded rod that is used to set the grader angle. Currently the blade cannot be lifted all the way off the ground which makes for driving in the yard a bit of a pain. The thing that is hitting the frame of the tractor is the threaded rod. The blade is so heavy that I did not feel the need to put the solid link onto the tractor, but after using it, I believe that I will.
