Tiller tines

First of all, thanks to everyone for the help. This is a great site.

I have a 07-36TL-03 rear tiller. Are the tines replaceable? and if so where can I find them?

Go to a site like this

http://www.partstree.com/parts/

Type Toro in the 2nd box and the model number in the 3rd box like this 07-36TL03

The parts that come up priced are still available from Toro.

Like most parts from Toro that are made of unobtainium they are priced out of sight.

There is a site that sells nothing but tines but none are a direct fit. I think I could make a set work.

I had the same thought a while ago as well.  My solution is to keep an eye out for another whole tiller with tines that are not too used up.  With the price that Toro is charging, a good "low mileage" tiller is less money and now you have other spare parts!

Stens carries replacements that seem to fit many models. If one could find one of the models and compare it may be a less expensive alternative. These are from a Canadian dealer so likely less expensive south of the border.

If anyone follows up on this keep us updated. I am sure many members could use a new set.

Buy a bunch of cheap walk behind tillers. Cut the tine just above the turn, weld the shanks together. Complete set of new looking tines around $40 and some time. Just make sure you weld them on the right way!
