They both loom like decent horses. I am surprised to see those near you, the rjs are hard to find anywhere. The 35 MIGHT be worth a thousand running and driving but I have to agree on high prices.

The value of anything is solely dependent upon the moods of the buyer and seller at the time of the transaction. However, in this case, I think the seller is a bit overly optimistic.

I was down your way about a month ago in the Harmony/Statesville area for a week. My brother and myself roamed the country side every single day and we found NOTHING. There was a junk dealer/auction house in Harmony that we stopped at and his prices were insane for absolute junk. He had a real crappy B-100 and he was firm at 600.00. He over heard me muttering to my brother that I wouldn't take it if he gave it to me! It looked as though it had been sitting outside for 20 yrs. That B-100 was the only Horse I saw all week. Lotsa of box store junks and lotsa John Deere's You would think that with most people having  larger yards and all of the farm lands that there would be a little more red! My brother that we were visiting lives in Statesville and he told us North Carolina is John Deere country.

Thats what he is asking, Not necessarily what they are worth in your area. I bet it sets in his shed for a long time at that price. If not I may have to bring a few to you to sell on halves

wow I guess I should start buying and shipping rjs. one hits craigs by me at least every two weeks. some are in the $800 price restored, but most running complete $250 to $350.
