Great to see your dad's B-80 back in business!

They are a great all around tractor for residential use-mowing, plowing and hauling !

Very nice job on the restore!

I would drill and tap another setscrew at 90 degrees from the original. Used new set screws and keys. That should fix it if it isn't too bad. If you can't stop it from sliding on the axle it will destroy the hub and possibly the axle. Keep an eye on them, the only other fix is to find a good hub. I fix the hubs on my 1977 C-120 by boring them out sleeve and keying. I have three good friends who are machinist so it did cost me anything. I had been trying to keep mine tight for 5 or 6 years. It got to where they would slip on the axle every time I mowed.

Very nice. Love the B 80s. Like your tires. I have a 76 that looks like yours- great shape but broken rod that had to be replaced. I also have 2) little74s with the mid wheelbase and 4 speed trans.
