Tankman 3,514 #1 Posted October 3, 2012 Just got a pair of interesting wheel weights. Old cast iron brake drums were drilled and carriage bolts tacked in (welded). The drums (size brake?) fit the rear wheel rims perfectly. The drum opening was filled with concrete adding additional weight. Look good, need paint, cheap enough. Tankman 3,514 #9 Posted December 2, 2012 Thx for the pic, any idea what they weigh Looks and sounds like a good idea Are they 12" rims Never weighed one. Feels like the standard cast wheel weights when you pick 'em up; 40-50 lbs approximately. Size can be any size you want, 8", 10" or 12". Just pick up the diameter you need at the junk yard, take a tape measure. Oh yes, I've seen 'em painted. Look great.
