Just took on a 78 C-121 8 speed Wheel horse project. Father n law bought it brand new and had passed away about 7 years ago. About how long this has been sitting. Drained the gas and oil. Put a new cleaner and battery on it. Have to go buy a fuse still and see how she runs before going any further.post-8493-0-91793400-1347661429_thumb.jppost-8493-0-51902300-1347661381_thumb.jp

check the points, if its been sitting that long im sure with a clean up of the contact points and if it was running ok before, it should be good to go with some decent gas....

oh, and welcome to the square.....

Yeah I put some gas in there and shook it up and redrained the tank. Looks pretty clean if you ask me. I'll be able to mess with the spark issue this afternoon. I am located in Richlands. Raleigh is about hour n a half away. Did these tractor come with a little wagon also. I know where the wagon is that was bought the same time as this tractor just not sure if it really went with it or not.

Looks like you have a nice tractor there, also looks like it has had a replacment engine, the orig. one would have been red, I have a couple engines that color and are factory Kolher new replacments.

She lives again!!! I can't believe how smooth it runs. Just as smooth as my craftsmen thats 3 years old. I will continue to work on the rest now. Fuel lines are trash, leaking in two spots. That and have to drain the tranny. Alot of water in it. New muffler and a paint job later down the road it will be like new.

Not sure about that. It's a manual. Good news is I got some parts in so I can get it into better shape this weekend.
