Front spindles

Recommended Posts

dlhirsch

I am looking for replacement front spindles. The Wheel Horse part numbers are 5630 and 5631. The Toro part numbers are 115425 and 115426. I recently replaced one but the front wheels are going different directions. Any suggestions where I might locate these parts? Thanks in advance.

It is a Bronco 14. I think the model is 1-0421.

Those spindles are common to many models. They can be found used on eBay, and new from many online and local Toro parts dealers.

What should I search for? I have tried both the Wheel Horse and Toro part numbers on eBay and Google to no avail.

Is there a way to verify which spindle might be bent or tie rod before ordering a replacement?

Center the lower steering shaft, the part the tie rods bolt to, kinda a triangle piece, center that so the bottom is square with the ground, then look at the wheels to see what one is not pointing forward.
