JMW 3 #1 Posted March 4, 2012 This might be a dumb question but here it goes.I'm putting a 12hp kohler in a c160 with a manual trans. Are these the same size (physically) as the original? If so does anyone know what the size of the original engine pulley would be? I would like to use a factory length belt. Thanks JIM
can whlvr 991 #2 Posted March 4, 2012 as long as the motor was from a wheelhorse, its a direct fit dimensionally, wiring could need a little changeing, the engine pulley for a manual is 4 inches outside and its for a 5/8 belt as long as the engine is from around the same year,if its from a 1978-1984 it sits on the cradle,so you will need a cradle or a plate, but its the same size block
baerpath 517 #3 Posted March 4, 2012 You will be fine as your engine was from a Raider12. Basically the same as a C160, Pully should be correct along with the belt size. Duane
Don1977 604 #4 Posted March 4, 2012 The K 241, k 301, k 321, and the K 341 are the same dimensions on the out side and crank shaft location.
