I have the schnacke recoil on my RJ58 and I have a NOS cable and handle for it. Everytime I try to put it back together the cable pulls out because all that holds it is that slightly curved washer. If I make it tight the pulley wont turn and if I loosen it, then it pulls out. Its very frusterating. What is the torque spec for that center nut? Am i missing something? Im ready to weld the cable to the pulley and be done with it. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.
