Cody 269 #1 Posted September 3, 2011 A few months ago i bought a 702 and deck for $75. tractor was complete and very straight. Got it running but the charging system wasn't working. So i started tracing wires and realized nothing was wired right. So i took all of the wiring out and rewired it according to the diagram i found on here. Here's the diagram i used: now my issue is when i turn the key on i do not have power at the coil, nor at either side of my key switch. from how i read the diagram i have the wire going from the left terminal of the regulator to the key switch, and from the other side of the switch to the coil. (maybe I'm reading it wrong??) I also checked at the terminal and no power there. So my question is do i have it wired wrong, or could this be a possible bad regulator? i have power at the middle terminal on the regulator. also i noticed there is no place for a wire to go on the bottom of the regulator to the A post of the starter. The regulator doesn't appear to have been changed but I'm not sure if that would make a difference Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
