tbbahner 27 #1 Posted July 29, 2011 Back in April, I posted a couple pics of repairing an axle pin on my GT14. Well, I got REAL STUPID and went a little further on it than planned. You all like pics so here ya go. After a complete rewire, replacement of all switches, tighten up the steering, engine swap, etc. etc. etc. its back on the move. If I ever talk of doing another GT14, y'all can come kick me square in the posterior! Too many parts, nuts and bolts. These things are a beast of a machine and I really like it, but its a bear to work on compared to the B's and C's. Still need to redo the 3pt. tiller but need a rest. Man that tiller is heavy to try and move around. Tom B Rossville Ks

mavfreak 11 #3 Posted July 29, 2011 really nice! Didn't know fixing a pin would look like that. I put a pin in my commando 800 and it didn't trun out like that when finished!
jbumgarner 12 #4 Posted July 29, 2011 It turned out great. I was thinking of buying a GT14 sometime in the next couple years, but after reading your post I may look at another model to be my worker. Would you suggest a B or C model. It sounds like they may be easier to work on. Great Job on your though.

tbbahner 27 #25 Posted July 30, 2011 Thanks for all the comments. Yeah Frank, the heat definitely got to me a couple times. On offers to repair other axle pins, I need to take a break. BRRLY1, yep it will be used, but probably lightly. Thanks again. Tom B
