Shuboxlover 474 #1 Posted June 17, 2011 What amperage is the alternator on my 520?...now that I have a cab, I'm gonna start by putting some lights on the top so I can see when I'm using my 2-stage. I'm going to unhook the two headlights in the hood. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which lights to use, would the standard "fog/driving lights" that you can get at any auto parts store be sufficient? I want them to be bright and inexpensive, I may also want to put a rotating amber light up-top also. Let me know your thoughts :hide:
c175inMA 8 #2 Posted June 17, 2011 LED light work well for wide vision near the tractor and are inexpensive. They also have very little current draw. The problem with most LEDs is that they don't light up very far infront of the tractor. I have used normal foglights too. I would suggest both :hide:
CRE1992 135 #3 Posted June 17, 2011 I believe the Onan P220 has a 20 amp system. Duke used LEDS for his snow blower monstrosity Look at pages 2-4 to get a better idea about the lights.. Dukes Snowblowing Machine Lights
Shuboxlover 474 #4 Posted June 17, 2011 Are those LEDs as bright as the "fog lights" though :hide:
