snow/dozer blade question

Recommended Posts

John159

I picked up a 2002 315-8 a little over a week ago. This is my first Wheel Horse and is now my only tractor. I bought this because I needed a replacement for my aging MTD lawn tractor. Well maybe I did buy this based on more than a simply need. I have been following Red Square for months, I drove over 700 miles to pick up the tractor and I did already own a snow/dozer plow even before buying this Wheel Horse. Hello, my name is John and I have WHOS (Wheel Horse Obsessive Syndrome).

I purchased the plow from a guy that was selling a 310-8 from the mid 1980

Looks like you got hooked up on a hitch already so that's great. Welcome to RS where 99.9% of the members have WHOS.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a used one. You could post an ad in the wanted section on this site. There is a guy who sells repop's on Ebay and I saw a used one for $30 "buy it now" plus $14 S&H

You 315-8 should last your life time. What size deck do you have on it?

Thanks for the welcome guys. Just a note - it was more than a 700 mile trip (round trip) to pick up the tractor. Pittsburgh to Indiana.

I'm running a 42 inch rear discharge deck on the tractor.

Thanks again,

John
