Sparky-(Admin) 19,546 #27 Posted December 11, 2010 :ychain: Nothing to report here in Connecticut....yet. Looks like a whole lot of fun ahead of you guys. Its real nice to clear snow on Sundays as your not as pressured to get it done and shoot out for work like on weekdays. Mike.......

Confused99 2 #32 Posted December 12, 2010 Jason, how's your "lifting" arm doing? Watching it pile up in Wisconsin. Randy The arm is doing great. I really wish you could try it. You would be surprised how easy it is to lift. Here is another picture going through a big drift. It went through fine but I had to backup as the snow was going over the blower
Redbirdman 7 #33 Posted December 12, 2010 I paid my dues!..................I almost miss it.................................. NOT!!!!! But thanks for the mammories...........brrrrr And don't forget. them graders don't exactly like raised manhole covers! jdpuller 2 #35 Posted December 12, 2010 Jason you make me jealous wish I had a big blower like that for my bronco. blew out my drive way twice today allready. time to get the sleds out.
stevasaurus 22,230 #36 Posted December 12, 2010 Jason...got some calendar shots there. By me the rain has stopped and we now have a 1/2 " of snow on top of ice. We have water froze on the trees and then you add snow and ad the wind after that. This could be nasty. I would rather have the powder that Minnesota got. Watch out guys...somewhere, somebody is going to get it bad. Let you know if it is here. :hide:
Shuboxlover 474 #37 Posted December 12, 2010 I WANT SOME Is that just a 12HP under the hood there??? If it is, that baby handles that big blower pretty good! :ychain:
Operator 7 #38 Posted December 12, 2010 Well we got 18" here in my area, right now it is 0 degrees out but hardly any wind. Beutiful out there. Finish my coffee and start in on snow chores. I never plowed at all yesterday, figured if anyone wants to visit you better have a 4X4. For you guys in 80 degtee climate that means four wheel drive truck Randy
jimbotelho 1 #39 Posted December 12, 2010 That snow thrower is doing a good job Wish I had one (if we ever get snow) :ychain:
Redbirdman 7 #40 Posted December 12, 2010 4 x 4 For you guys in 80 degree climate that means four wheel drive truck LOL.....Ohhhh I thought it meant: (*)(*) (*)(*) and 4 beers summers over winters here.... time for whisky, no more beer
Confused99 2 #41 Posted December 12, 2010 Thanks for the comments guys. Yep, she is still just the Kohler 12hp that was rebuilt a few years ago. I am more than happy with the setup. A hydro would be nice but I have got pretty good at shifting both sticks :ychain:

Raider 2 #46 Posted December 12, 2010 We got dumped on overnight, heavy, wet and about 8-12" depending on how it's drifted. The 312-8 and tall-chute single stage marched right through it, 1-low first pass and 1-hi for the rest. I did two driveways and opened up a third at the street before coming in for soup. The neighbors looked a little envious Thank goodness for Wheelhorse, Kohler and good tires.
Craig Arndt 6 #47 Posted December 12, 2010 Just got in from doing my driveway and a few neighbors. This will be in until tomorrow morning. I am so jealous. Just waiting....
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #48 Posted December 12, 2010 Just got in from doing my driveway and a few neighbors. I'd like to take that and run with it, but I'd probably get kicked off of the forum. Nothing here in the middle of PA but a skift of snow followed by lots of rain. I'll get my turn at snow removal soon enough - but the neighbors will have to take care of themselves. :D
pumper.atv 26 #49 Posted December 12, 2010 went from 6am to 2pm clearing snow with the truck and c121
