drive belt for commado 800

Recommended Posts

Mabey, but over her the model number on it is comming up as a b 80. After looking at some other commando 800 pictures i found that the bonnet decal on mine matches the B 80 and the decal on the fuel tank cover isnt a normal commando 800 one, I think that is must be a B 80 with commando decals on? When you say about the vertrical engine do you mean from the pully to the deck drive because doesnt go through the bottam of the frame it goes down to anought pully that directs it to the deck. Hope you understand what i mean. Ta

What you have is called a horizontal shaft engine, not vertical. Vertical shaft means the crankshaft is vertical, running up and down. There would be a pulley then on the bottom of the engine to run belts, etc. You have the horizontal shaft, or side shaft as some called it, meaning the crank is horizontal with the pulleys on the right side driving the belts.
