wheelhorsec165 0 #1 Posted June 10, 2010 Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. My first post was in the engine section. I recently picked up a C-165. The ID # is 1116K801. Any idea on the year? I picked it up for $325.00. It is a little rough, but starts right up. Going to be a project, trying to get it all squared away to mow this summer and a restore in the winter. First day I brought her home. :D

145Automatic 7 #12 Posted June 14, 2010 A K341 + 8 speed = a stout, capable machine. That C-165 should handle your mowing, snow removal, and gardening chores with ease. Have fun with your new horse. A common area that I have had problems with on rear gas tank C's and later models it the cross bar that the front of the gas tank and the seat attach to. The points were that cross bar attach to the dash tower seam to crack after time. Not a huge issue, and it can be repaired with a little welding/fabrication. Just somthing to keep your eye on. Again, thats a good horse. :D
