jpmcleod 4 #1 Posted January 16, 2010 I just purchased a Commando 8, Model 1-4831, serial 301467. Can someone tell me what year it is, I would really appreciate it. It is in excellent shape minus the engine. I will be looking for a replacement, assuming it is a 8hp Kohler. Any identification help will be appreciated. Thanks. Go to this web site and type in your model no# 1-4831 https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro This will give you some info like part numbers but no pictures... jpmcleod 4 #6 Posted January 16, 2010 Thanks guys. I will try to get some photos tomorrow if the rain stops. All 4 tires are Wheel Horse and has good tread. Very little cracking. jpmcleod 4 #8 Posted January 18, 2010 Rick. I'm in Central Florida and parts are not that plentiful. I located a Kohler 12 Magnum and if it will fit under the hood, I may pick it up tomorrow. I have the same hood on a 312-8 (modified hood nd fenders) and the Kohler 12 Magnum fits real nice. Some time I wish I lived closer to you guys. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
