Any of you guys watch the TV show NCIS? Gibbs builds the boat in his basement! Everyone wonders how he gets it out of the basement?:banghead: I thought I wouls try and get a pic of my little room, I might have the same question. One 36" door into the room.

Mark, your Horse is sure looking good! Seeing your shiney red engine reminds me that I need to paint mine. What kind of paint are you using?

Thanks guys.

Wheelhorseman unfortunately my engine did not have any decals on it. I have been using Valspar #4432 IH red for all the paint. I have not yet decided what tires I am going to change to. IA buudy of mine gave me a brand new set of 6"x16" rims that are for the front of a full size tractor. You can buy the original ag tires from ME Miller. Problem is they are a bit pricy, 110.00 bucks a piece.

Mark: You have done a great jon on this 953 and I think your photos have helped show the way for a great restoration for a lot of others reading and looking at your progress.

Thank you. Your type of contribution is what makes Red Square a great website!

We are having a decent weather day here in SC today so I fired the tractor up and moved it outside to get some good pics. Hope all of you caught in that snow storm are doing OK!

I still need to get decals ordered and recover the seat cushions. I also have an implement project I have been thinking about...Can't wait to get started on that.

I thought I had posted these pics when I took it out of the "little room". I took the door off the hinges and did some measuring. It wouldn"t fit through the door with the rear wheels on so off they came. We muscled it around and in to position. I picked up the rear end and walked it out the door until it was clear enough to put the back tires on, from there it was a piece of cake.

Thanks guys, I have really enjoyed working on this project. i sent my Mom pictures

and she couldn't believe it. She asked when I was bringing it back to Michigan? Umm...Didn't want to answer that question. She sensed the hesitation and then suggestion I bring the other horse home and redo it for them. I think it is a c-120 auto. She said it is probably a better plow tractor then the Crapman they bought a few years ago. Duh!

Kelly I have the lenses covers, just need to find new o-rings for them. I would be interested in the cover if you have one. You guys don"t miss much in the pics either. That is a GM frame. We call it a 69' legoat. It is my buddies lemans we are making into a GTO. Funny story in that, I will tell that later. I told my buddy he should not have taken that pic showing his Harley next to the horse cause you guys would chose the horse over the hog.
