Alternator

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering. I read quickly in my manual the other night about the electrical system and it said something about the alternator outputing AC Current. Is this True?

The average small engine with an alternator , puts out 24-28 volts A.C. at the alternator and is changed to 12-14 volts D.C.
