Neuhreder Oldtimer Kollegen und Umgebung

So today I visited the 'Neuhreder Oldtimer Kollegen und Umgebung' "Oldtimer treffen" or Oldtimer meeting. Besides tractors there are cars, motorcycles, trucks, fleamarket and live music performances. Also the event has what is called a 'quellacker' what translates to something like 'torture field'. People can take whatever vehicle they have and play around there. Plowing, tug-of-war, pulling trees or just riding around, everything goes 

Anyway, some pictures say more than 1000 words.

Which one do you mean @Pullstart?

The little one, painted like a Fendt, is probably a Gutbrod or Holder.

The articulated one is a Holder, possibly model A15.

@Pullstart I found it, make is Agria, model is 4700 or 5700. Hood and fenders give it away.

@peter lena thanks for the feedback on both the pictures and the YT links.

The unimogs really are cool and very capable. I have a newfound respect for them since visiting the unimog museum and taking a ride in one on a special trail they had setup to show all the unimogs capabilities. Steep hills both head on and from side to side were no problem aswell as something I would call a washboard-XL or deep water crossing.

If only they were'nt so stinkin' expensive.. oh well, a man can dream

        Is this for harvesting corn silage or is it a modern mechanical adaptation of a medieval torture device?

@953 nut  believe its for corn silage , as far as medieval torture  devices go , the place to go for that is , THE TOWER OF LONDON , incredible actual devices used on people . interesting how there were different levels , of diabolical  life ending  phases . the  iron strap , body break  open cage  , broke every joint , then lowered into hot wax , then wheeled across the yard to the river thames, where the  cage fit into a  vertical hold  in the sea wall , so just the head was slightly above hi tide . BTW  there were lots of rats in the water . that entire  building is incredible, have to see the armored elephant display , pete

This is indeed a Mengele SF 300 silage chopper but I guess you could also use it as a torturing device. Better hold on tight though before the torturer becomes the torturee
