Nice tractor!

Thank you! It’s what Ive always wanted. Much better than every big box store offered now. Or since 2000’s.

Youve seen this before LOL

I stumbled into the first and now tend four (I was actually looking for a Cub Cadet to relive my youthful memories). My goal is to stay with one worker on site and take on projects only when I know they will move out when finished!

I doubt I would ever find it. I grew up in Geneva, OH and my mother sold it supposedly “blown up” to someone in the area around the late 2000’s early 2010’s.. I seriously doubt the ol’ Kohler was done for.

I revived my grandfather’s second cub cadet. 2185 i believe. It sat neglected for many, many years and now its back in action. Before that my grandfather had an old international cub cadet but supposedly totaled it down a massive hillside (that wasn’t what got him in the end just to clarify lol).

Welcome to the group! A lot of great people here with tons and tons of knowledge. I’m not sure how they keep it all in their heads. They must wear ear plugs. All kidding aside the people here are fantastic. As for finding your childhood tractor there’s no better feeling finding it. Well technically mine never left my dads garage til I got a house but the tractors my grandfathers let me mow on have all finally made their way to my collection. The last being my 1848 that I was told was sold for scrap. No better feeling going to look at it and confirming it was the one. Your kids will love these tractors too. All 3 of mine do. I feel like with my 2 boys I may have created monsters since they have been the ones doing all the wheeling and dealing this year and I haven’t pulled the trigger on anything. But it’s what keeps this hobby alive.

Welcome @dr363305 :WRS:

First of all, nice buy!

Secondly, as others before me have said I think you'll feel right at home here. All mechanically inclined and equally crazy people here :ychain:

I'd be insulted if this didn't apply so perfectly to me!

Thank you! And what a family and collection you have!

I am hoping to gain as much knowledge as I can to be self sufficient and hopefully provide as I learn more.
