I know I can't be the only one with a old skidsteer.

Mine is a Bobcat M600 with a engine from the M610 so the Wisconsin VH4D V4 air cooled gas engine

If I’m correct that’s a gas powered melro skid loader Mel ro was bobcat until it was renamed if I’m correct

Yes that is correct, not sure if you can see it or not but in the last photo the rear weight says Melroe on it.

I actually wasn't totally sure, but using the serial number I believe it's a 1971
