I'll be there Saturday, as early as I can be.

I'm taking this Thursday and Friday off, so taking another second half of the week off so close is pushing my luck. And I'm running out of PTO already for this year.

Traffic permitting I will be there for Wednesday night dinner at the Italian Village Restaurant, I will be staying until Saturday around noon. I have a room at the Quality Inn, same exit as Comfort Inn but a much lower price, stayed there one night while traveling through and it is as good as Comfort Inn.         :twocents-02cents:

We stopped staying at the Blue sky when the shower had plenty of black mold.

Everyone traveling into PA be sure to fill up before getting to PA, we have the highest gas tax in the nation.

If you are traveling across the PA turnpike from the west stay on till exit 201 and take 997 south to route 30, GPS will take you from there.  This is a much better route than taking the breezewood exit to route 30. That way is dangerous with hills and curves.

What if your coming from the south ?

You could get onto I-77 north of Charlotte. I take I-40 to Statesville NC, head north on I-77 to I-81 and stay on II-81 all the way up to Chambersburg, PA. Best gas stops on I-81 are VA exit # 84 and VA exit #291. Gas prices go up a bunch once you leave VA.

Hit the last station in Maryland or WV. As of last night gas in MD was almost 40 cents less a gallon than in the area of the show. If you stay on 15 a tank will get you in and out.

I keep hearing about the "big show" being new to this and have no idea what it is I am thinking of it. Is it a good place to pick up the items I would need to the 520? Need some gauges, some cosmetic parts and maybe even a deck.. I have a 60: deck that I would love to swap or sell to get a rear discharge etc...

Wheel Horse collectors club runs a "show" for Wheel Horse aficionados

Here is their url. Look at the show flyer on this site. https://wheelhorseclub.com

This is NOT run by the forum, though many forum members are also collector club members.

Many vendors are there as well as individuals who have parts/tractors to sell. It is a good place to look for stuff you need/want/or didn't know you needed/wanted.

Search this site for "Big Show" or "BS" to read up.

This thread is a touchpoint for letting the forum know who is planning to attend.

There is another thread for folks who have things they are offering for sale and will bring if a member commits to buy it--can save tons of shipping hassle and expense.

If you can't find it at the big show, chances are you can't find it anywhere.

List it in this thread, may get a deal in the works before you arrive.

I can not make it this year or any after this one.

I wish I could make it. My mind says go but my body says don't be stupid. My traveling days are over. I will miss all my friends.
