Wow that's somewhere to put a hitch it may be quite effective but on That metal may not.

Right! Some work with a grinder and a welder & you will never know it was there.:)

Heck of a place to pull from. Any idea what was attached there at all?

There was some angle iron cobbled on there with a ball hitch for a trailer. The hitch may have been at a good height for a trailer but the strength would have never been much.

Yeah that would have been a good height but then you got to think the metal would probably end up bending.

Will be mostly a show pony, but I'm sure that I will find jobs for it here and there.

Makes a great little tractor for the mid mount blades. Aren't you a member of that club Dan? :banana-wrench:

That is what my 800 Special will be. It will run a lot, on pretty days. But it won't be a worker.... it will just bask in beauty...

I am quite sure that I may haul garbage cans or something like that... but no hard work. HellHorse can handle all of that. :banana-dance:

I'm glad you can make up your mind so quickly about paint. I remind myself of Charlie Brown...

WHX??

Getting back to the seat thing for abit. Pretty sure the seat on the 867 that I posted is orginal and Dan's is clearly gotta be orginal with the WH logo. It seems in the day :wh:, especially in 68, 67, 66 & 65  they just used a slew of different seats. Just trying to sort out what seats were used on different models in the day. Wish me good luck with that. Thinkin more and more it was just the luck of the draw on what assemblers  had in ther bin that day?

The checker board ones that Dan has does not crop up very often. I had one on a 1067 but different pattern and sadly same shape. Oddly enough the WH logo never cracked and shoud go on a wall as garage art.

Can't see it well in this pic but best I got for now.

One would have thought a 867 and a 1067 or even an 857 would have had the same seat right?

Second pic original on a 857....

I've had the same thought.

We had a 1267 come through here that had that multi square.

Mebbe another rig...

Trina's 867 has a bare fiberglass pan.

Her 657 had a PO reupholstered metal square ish pan.

Wish that the manual had better pictures. There is only one part number listed but there may have been variations.

Some kind of low back seat. Got a few that I'm looking at but I haven't decided exactly which one yet.
