Not like Kevin to travel that light - me thinks there is another leg to the trip with a wee bit of good old fashioned Horse Tradin' going on......

@sodaking27, @phil bowling and Scott Shearer, a huge thanks to you all!  Now to unload without an enormous parking lot or huge Hilo this weekend!  We have been on the road since wee hours, found a Super 8 in Frederick, MD to stop for the night.  About 290 or so miles into our trip today, the fuel gauge went from around 5/8 tank to done empty’s in about a mile.  I tossed him in the ditch on 80/90 or 76 by then?? and instantly checked the oil for crankcase fuel, then underneath for excessive diesel fuel anywhere.  Rylee and I concurred the sending unit gauge had gone out.  This era Duramax has no fuel pump in the tank, so we kept on keepin’ on.  29 gallon transfer tank, 24-26+ gallon truck tank, I figured we’d make it to MD with at least 150 miles left in our tank.  I grabbed 11 gallons when we got off the highway, then continued to Scott’s place for tours of his amazing everything collection and to load up.  He tossed a C-120 Auto onto my load and another snow plow, another blower and deck.  I left the 520-8’s 48” deck behind, it is of no real use to me.  After pizza in town and another barn tour or three, we hit the road.  On to tomorrow’s adventures!

it sure is an uneasy feeling having no fuel gauge so far from home!

Normally I use the ramps, but the approach was quite steep.

Congrats on the haul, great job @Pullstart . Check your fuel guage. The only issue I ever had with my 2002  K-3500 Chevy Cab and chassis was when the fuel got below 5/8 of a tank it would drop to empty. That was a common issue with those. The remedy was to replace the guage package. Never had it done just kept it above a 1/2 tank and never had a problem. Other than that great truck.

I'm more curious whats UNDER the tractors.

I see at LEAST a snow-thrower, a tall chute for a later snow thrower, a tiller, a plow frame, what looks like a nice, nice set of wheels.

Who knows what other goodies he is hiding :eusa-think:
