Only problem I see here is Joe is having to remove them every time I just want to use the bucket to do a little back dragging.

Your right, safety and the preservation of the machine really isn't worth the extra 5 min it would take to remove 2 chains. :scratchead:

Now we're just getting a little ridiculous.

Have you even looked at Jim's username lately??

W. H. X. ??

Let's go ahead and break this down shall we?

W. Wheel

H. Horse

X. This is what's known as a multiplication sign which is an indicator that there is more than one Wheel Horse present

??..... These two little curvy top symbols are an indication that Jim actually has very limited or even no notion whatsoever of how many of the above mentioned Wheelhorse tractors are currently in his possession.

In order to greatly reduce or even entirely eliminate the need to add or subtract chains Jim could just

Get. Another. Loader.

Or... Or?

This is going to sound absolutely crazy but what about getting a forklift tractor.....?

This kind of reminds me of a friend of mine talking about his father. He said....the old man got three garden tractors, one with a mower, one with a snow plow and one with a tiller. Hmmm I said, must be convenient? He said wait, I forgot to tell you, he only got one battery. Says you can't run them all at the same time!

When the mowing is done.....puts it in the snow plow machine, when the snow is done.....puts it in the tiller machine, then back to the mower.

I said really? He said yep really!

Have to admit I can see the logic in that.

I've put wing nuts on some of our battery cables for that very reason.

Then.....

We figured out that's a PITA.

So we buy more batteries.

😀

If you added those heavy-current electric winch connectors to each tractor and the battery, much easier. I can see the logic for sure. Good battery is expensive and they like to be used regularly.

I looked those too.

I fact I got the idea to make an extra circuit on Colossus and that'll be our jumping dead batteries tractor.

When I drove wrecker we had one of those heavy current connectors on the front of all of our trucks. Had a set of cables with jumper alligator clips on the other end. Used them multiple times with success.

Also came in handy when had to do some straight or reverse  DC welding right off the battery! :laughing-rolling:

He called me about plowing 5 acres for an amish guy on November 13, told him that I would be in. Seat time & the possibility of some amish cookin' sounded like a good day to me

Cringed when I watched this. Reminded me of the day I left work and saw an S10 pickup up in the air in front of another shop in the industrial park on the forks with someone under it replacing the exhaust.

Red or black so you have a contrast to the wheel.

Agreed.... Leaning towards red, can't never go wrong on a horse with that color right?

Craig has inside weights on in silver.
