Howard, I'm kickin' myself in the a$$ here...  I heard you were at the show this year, but I only stayed for a couple of hours and didn't take the time to come by and say hello.  Next year, I promise!  Be strong man, you'll get through this, you know we're all thinking of you!

@wheelhorseman Thanks for keeping us posted.

Howard Dellapuca is a great Wheel Horse owner, collector and friend to all Wheel Horse owners!    His contributions to the Big Show are many but most will recognize the mile post marker he stole from MASH!

Howard has more enthusiasm than three or four Wheel Horse owners combined.   I borrowed Howard’s trailer  (pics below) and some gas ( he had three cans of gas) during the recent Big Show .  I am pulling hard for Howard as I am very pleased he has secured a kidney !    My thoughts are with him and his family as he undertakes this surgery and recovery.

I was just talking to Howard's son, Kevin, who will be updating me on Howard's status.  Here is what Howard's wife, Tammy put on Facebook today..."Tomorrow morning Howard will be receiving a second chance at life.  A wonderful person has stepped forward to donate a kidney to Howard so he can continue to live a normal life.  Please keep us in your prayers and hope for a successful transplant.  This gift of life doesn't come around often so we are very thankful."  Please know that Howard, his family, the donor, and their family appreciate all of our prayers and thoughts.  I will keep you all update as I get updates from Kevin.

As I was reading I got the impression that someone had passed and that Howard would be receiving one of their kidneys...

But it appears that is not the case....

Howard I don't know you, but based on the kind words I have read, you are truly a loved individual !

I pray that you have a successful operation, and make a complete, speedy recovery.

And I pray for the individual who stepped up and made such a loving, kind, and priceless gift to you !

Give all glory and thanks to GOD !

Howard, Prayers for perfect surgeries and recoveries for you and the wonderful donor.  Looking forward to meeting you at the Big Show one of these years. Every time I see a picture of the tractor with “Howard” blazed on the dozer blade. I smile
