Pullstart

This looked like a tiny mouse with huge wings.  Found it in the grille of Grandpa’s truck after our trip to FL and back.

My fat fingers and a 5/4 deck board shown for size reference...

That was my thought.

Is it covered with short little hairs?

Never studied Latin, but I was a biology major and worked for an entomologist at Rohm & Haas until I got tired of handling bugs.

That doesn’t quite look right.  It had chipmunk/mouse style hair, but much shorter of course.

possibly.  I looked up pictures of different species but didn’t see the same thing.  It was covered EB.  Funny thing, the way it was covered it didn’t look like just a head... but like that was the entire bug.  Tiny body, huge wings.

Damaged as it is, it may be beyond proper rookie identification.
