I recently purchased  a 1980 1100 special in very good condition. I have been able to find parts for it. I am however coming up short in finding a new dip stick for the transmission.   When I checked the oil the dip stick had signs of rust on it. I have since drained and flushed it out and put in new oil. Would like to replace the dipstick if I can.. can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have just shined them up with steel wool.

And welcome to red square.

Paul Adanick

I'm Paul Adanick from Nicholasville, KY.  I've been wanting to restore a small tractor (preferably Wheel Horse) since 1985 and finally bit the bullet.

I found a still running 1967 Lawn Ranger that I'm doing a frame up restoration on and having a blast.

Glad I found Red Square as a resource during this adventure.

Already can't wait to start my next one...

:WRS:  @Paul Adanick  Start a topic in the Restoration thread when you get going on your project.  We all like to see what you do with your "new" :wh:  Looks to be in pretty nice shape to begin with.
