That is a good looking tractor. My son has a Ford 540a industrial of the same vintage and those years were some great years for equipment. The front end loader adds a lot of value to the package. With the new equipment electronic issues and the epa regs your tractor is probably worth more than it was 10 years ago. My son gave around $9000 for his with 1000 hours 10 years ago and it has 2300 hours on it now. I know that he would not take a dime less for it now. Hope you can get a great price for it.

That label needs to be peeled off before selling. Make it a door prize at the next plow day!

So what's it worth dingus? You ever make it to plow day we is gonna drop yer drain plug  you aint lookin just fer a good laugh.

I got 2800 stuck in my craw for some reason. I think it may be worth more than that so don't want to short change the estate.

I have no idea, but I’d imagine it’s worth more than that.  Don’t want to screw the pooch for the estate Uncle Jim!

$2800 to low for starters........$3500-4000 good starting price.

Check the oil sticker reminds me of one on the race car dash that said "THINK"

Here they be worth between 3.500 and 5000.

check the Hydraulics, mostly the seals can be exchanged relative simply,

unscrew the Cylindres, disassemble them put new Seals in reassemble them - done.

- that will increase the value massive.

A little oil consumption on that older Engines is normal,

so i also see the check oil more as a reminder - similar on newer Tractors have the idiot light..

around here a tractor that size/age/condition would be a minimum 4k any day. with just being relatively small issues i'd expect it to go for a bit more. just my 3.7 cents (adjusted for inflation)

Can't add anything to what's been said. Only to add it is an industrial version. MF painted their IV's yellow.
