Racinbob 10,276 #1 Posted May 23, 2021 A lot of folks here are great gardeners with their veggie and flower gardens. @Lane Ranger is one that comes to mind. I used to have a kick butt veggie garden but never did so well with flowers. I never tire of Mother Natures gardening skills. I took a ride out back this morning with the intention of snapping a few pictures. I didn't have my glasses and the sun was washing out the screen so I just snapped 8-10 pictures in the direction of the wild flowers. I figured that some would turn out good. I went back inside and checked them out. Not a single picture of the flowers. But I did have 8-10 pictures..............of my face. In order to avoid nauseating everyone I just deleted them and went out back again with my glasses to try again. This time I was successful. I don't recall seeing this amount of wild lupine out there last year. Butterflies are attracted to them and we definitely have plenty of those. Lane Ranger 10,488 #3 Posted May 23, 2021 Lupine is a sign of remnant dune sand being pushed off Lake Michigan Bob! Starke County had the worse sand erosion levels in the State of Indiana.
