Bah, that‘s a nono...

primary it needs a gasoline Engine or even a Diesel but electric...

i would sell the Coilcopper ( see s to be a exchange nearly like Gold) and buy instead a predator Engine.

So this engine is for free. 😎😁🍺

So I opted for a Predator… Batteries alone would have been a lot more…then converter etc…

Electric conversion will await another day / tractor…

Question: this Predator has a 3/4” shaft. Make more sense to sleeve it to 1” and use WH pulleys or just get a 3/4” pulley… thoughts?

Good choice.

i use mine with 3/4“ and snaped a 70 mm taper Pulley on it.

It was much cheaper with that diameter here, what is only a little larger as the Original my Teccy had, that was a 65mm.

No Problems at all.

only the Belt for the mowerdeck wears a little faster while mowing higher Grass,

but the Engine didn‘t stall.

If a sleeve is easily available, I would go that road. Maybe you can get the PTO working. + WH pulleys are cast-iron, not that cheap metal.

But in Europe, you have to get them custom made.

As long as it was just for a Ride arround, a Taperpulley will be doing just fine.

btw, they are also Cast iron not any sheet Metal, take a closer look at my Pictures.👍

Predator swap a success! :banana-dance:

Bit of fine tuning but she really goes…

Gotta adjust clutch - wheelies are not my thing anymore… :auto-layrubber:

Also gonna need tie rods… one came off and the zip ties are nice - they’re black so they match the hood  - but I’ll do it right, I guess, if I have to…

Good tie rod sources out there? Looking for options…

You can find direct replacements on Amazon OR you can get some helm joints and use them on your old tie rods. I didn't want to pay the $$$ for new tie rods for my C175. I shortened the original tie rod and tapped it out so now I have better joints AND can adjust the toe in/out.

I used 2 tie rod ends on the outside for a Golf Cart.

The connection is made from a M10 inox threaded rod.

that lasts and is free of play.

A little drill up to 10mm was needed for a perfect Fit.

price was for both sides 12$ for the rodends and 4$ for the Threaded rod

Hey Sylvia,  you could have Terry make you an overlay to call it a C-6.5!

We moved my SIL’s car for sale 1/2 mile to the four way stop corner of the property today and Rylee picked me up with the WHRat and a little trailer.  I’m seriously considering hauling that tractor to the Big Show.  It’s just so loud and obnoxious LOOKING that I figure it would be a fun conversation piece

Funny… I was thinking about the decals last night…! They are brand new C 85 from Terry… may get just a 6.5 overlay… :eusa-think:

The WHrat WHrecker would be fun at the BS… just keep the cheese guys off it… :occasion-clown:

Im glad Rylee is enjoying it! It’s a perfect bomb around ride!!! :auto-layrubber:

It’s a strong toss up between the WHRat and Poppy...  they both have some sweet rolling stock...

Will use the shroud for a wall clock so all’s not lost… :handgestures-thumbupright:

@SylvanLakeWH saved the shroud for his wall clock and that box of externals came to Texas to dress out a bare block a friend gave me.

So no reusable kohler parts went to waste.  I guess he's left with a holy block and camshaft left for a proper burial.

You will love that thing for pushing snow. That light engine up front improves the traction on the rear and it really moves. I even have an upsized pulley on my 606 rat and it’ll push snow as fast as you’re brave enough to go.

So as sort of an update…

Here’s the parts wall of shame…

And the clock… brand new… uhm… cheap… and no longer works… lasted a whole week… so as not to waste energy and time thinking about it… I thought of Jimmy Buffet… 5:00 o’clock somewhere right? Well from now on it’s always 5:00 o’clock in the SL&WHN RR garage… no more battery changes and no more daylight savings time changes…!

EXTRA! EXTRA!  One more of Sylvia’s projects makes it’s way to Middleville!

The C-6.5 is here and well.  It runs great and doesn’t need much.  Maybe some Pullstart Stables customizations?

The rear fender pan, if it were pristine, would likely stay.  Got to thinking today.  I have a patina C-series steel pan.  I also have a whole set of tins off a GT14.  I might have to morph the GT14 rear end to fit the C series!

C-6.5 Ready to jump on the tail of the toy hauler in the background of this pic…
