2021 Big Show details????

Wheel Horse 3D

There could be threads I missed, but as a newbie, wondering what reservations I need to make for camping and a small spot.

Any idea on prices and where to call?

Camping is first come, first served on the grounds.  I believe it’s $20 per night and if you show up Thursday (set up day) there will be no issue finding a spot either way.  As for the show, same thing.  Show up, stake your claim with an easy up, etc. if you’d like.  I’ve gone two times now and haven’t ever staked a claim... just meandered.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

There are several threads  in the Shows Forum.     I believe the camping fee is $20/night on the show site.     There are no reservations ...first come.

There are many private campgrounds in the Gettysbrg area.

Oops, I see kevin is faster.

Things are still going in the right direction. Im really surprised folks arent chatting more about this, especially after missing out last year!

Is anyone else counting the days, or is that just because Im the new guy on the block and got the wind knocked out of my sails last year? ha.

Lack of chat could be "Cautious Optimism?"

We had our hearts broken last year when the show was cancelled. It's hard to get enthusiastic this year when there is still a big question mark hanging over not only Pennsylvania, but the entire country. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm a realist.

Makes sense.

I'm remaining optimistic.

...with a backup plan.

The Canadian/US border is continued to be closed to non essential travel for over a year now

Us Canadians might not even be able to go even if the show is a go

Everyone stay safe.

I have noticed the occasional overstating of things here.

Not to worry, Ed, I can fit a lot in my wagon and don't have to pay tolls for an extra axle! On my last trip to PA (Warren) I came home with a 520-H chassis from another member with the wheels still on it.

The recent positivity stats have me a bit worried but am still cautiously optimistic I'll be going. Hoping to put some faces with handles and shop around with an eye to finding a couple things on my wish list.

We heard last night from some friends they were supposed to have their new camper in January.  It’s now being pushed to May.  Different brand, different dealership.  I just hope our dealer delivers on time to their promise date!  Late May delivery will mean we’ll be there, Pond Senior and some other cool stuff in tow!  If not, we’ll see what we can do for a hauler.  See y’all in Peeee Aaaaaa!

I tell ya what. If THEY cancel the show, I'm goin' full on revolutionary and making the command decision, THERE WILL BE A SHOW! If we gotta find an open field here in WV and just pull everyone in Woodstock style, so be it!
