Ed Kennell 35,603 #3 Posted March 27, 2021 Due to the pandemic, we have opened several no contact Drive thru Casinos here in PeeAaa. You just drive thru slowly and throw your money out the window. 3 1

953 nut 51,507 #6 Posted March 28, 2021 Before I quit drinking I always got shots at the casino. Back in the '70s they gave you shots for free. Shots, , Oh you mean vaccinations, never-mind! 4

Each dose is over $200.00 and not covered by Medicare. I think I will take my chances. 1

Ed Kennell 35,603 #10 Posted March 28, 2021 (edited) We both got our 2 dose shingle shot last year with no charge. Medicare with Capital Blue supplement paid it all. Also got the flu and pneumonia vaccines at no cost. Seems the tetanus booster is the one not covered unless it is injury related. Bob Here in MD, Medicare B does not cover it, but depending upon who you have your supplemental or Part D with, they may cover it. Here is a screen shot from medicare.gov. My supplemental is Thrivent Financial, and Part D is Express Scripts.
lynnmor 6,762 #12 Posted March 28, 2021 My doctor wanted to charge me a considerable amount for the shingles shot, so I called my Medicare Advantage number. They said that I needed to go to the participating pharmacy to get it for free. Always check your plan first.

Here in NY, no escaping income tax.

Wow, I almost forgot, PeeAaa also has the second highest road use gas tax in the US. Edited April 8, 2021 by Ed Kennell
