Hi everybody

I have just bought a Wheel Horse tractor, rebuild for tractor pulling and with a Kohler Comander CH25S  engine. I need it for towing my boat trailer from the beach to our summer house, a distance of approx. 200 m. I have already tested the tractor with trailer on the beach - it works very well😄

What have I bought? I think a C model, but which number? I can’t find any sticker with details or number on the frame, I want to bee more exact about the model, because I need some spare parts.

I attach some images - hopefully somebody can help me.

Thank you in advance👍

KRESTEN, welcome aboard ! you have combination of a number of tractors, typically your build tag would be under the dash board area, or under the seat  on the top of the fender. another thing , that front axel is home made , and your  beach excursions should be limited , as the effect of salt water in any form will only help to totally corrode your horse. let us know what you find , good luck ,pete

:text-welcomeconfetti: to the :rs:  Kresten.      That's a strong looking hybrid tractor.  The hood looks like a '70s ...maybe a C series.

What is the small silver colored pedal on the middle of the right floorboard?

Difficult to say what year and model your tractor began life as but parts for :wh: are easy to interchange if they are needed. Looks like your tractor has been fitted with a foot operated throttle, could be hard to control on bumpy ground but I like it.

The 5-slot hoods were used 1970-1981 but only 1970-1975 had the hood ornament.

Thank you for your reply - the pedal is for foot operated throttle. I have bee told, it should be an advantage when the tractor is used for tractor pulling. I will fit a hand operated throttle.

Best regards and have a nice day.

The separate clutch and brake peddle, and 8 speed transmission makes me lean toward you tractor being a "C" series. My C-141 has the same separate clutch and brake setup. Only tractor in my herd with this configuration.

Separate clutch and brake pedals started on 1974 models.

Now we are down to a 1974 or 1975 model.

@Kresten Andreasen. The parts for the C series were mostly the. Same regardless what HP engine it has. Many of the parts fit other models as well. Let us know what your looking for in regard to spare parts (use pictures if needed) and so one here can probable help with part numbers.
It good to hear it works well on beach sand. Like anything metal around the salty air some paint maintenance will help protect it.  These horses are happy working anywhere
