We had my Power King until the engine blew, then just push mowers until after the kids were gone.  If we had what I have now we would have been done long ago!

I spent all my childhood summers with my grandparents in southern KY.  Both grew and raised just about everything we ate.  Had tractors but also a mule team.  Rural style life for sure.  I loved it!  Hard but good work.  Miss it now,

Basically same here, we even had the "OSHA" approved belt driven "buzzsaw" on the back of granddad's AC "B" for cord wood and sharpening yellow/black locust fence posts that were hammered into the ground by a 14# maul (which is still hiding in the garage) and holes punched in the ground by a digging iron, hard work but I'm still alive and happy and don't regret any of it.

Manual post hole diggers, black locusts and cedar corner posts soaked in creosote.  Chainsaws and white oak mostly.

Good times and great memories.  The best!
