A little seat time plowing.

You’ve got as much visibility over that bird statue as I do behind plow lights!  Cinnamon runs great at 21 degrees :handgestures-thumbupright:

Anyone who wants any seat time is welcome to stop by.  You have your choice of WH snow machines...

I know you guys up north like the colder weather but seeing that video reminds me of why we sold the folks place in Maine in 2009.  As i get older I love 80 degrees more and more.

Certainly understandable.

I find I like the temps above 40 to 45 or so but about the low 80s I just lose all my ooomphf.

0 degrees and sunshine - that is positively balmy.  It was cloudy, windy 13 degree day here in central Mo.

Not a very good instructional video - didn't see you check the oil.  :teasing-poke:

Mostly because I didn't check it this time.

That's a good rule.

At least you are honest.  Some people would claim  they checked the oil off camera.

Looks like your research into editing went well, though.

I'd asked on here awhile back.

Got some feedback and a few folks wanted me to do some stuff a little longer.

I do also have about 8 to 12 videos of waterfalls and river sections from last fall of like to combine.

Seems like a fairly easy thing to pick up.

See how you do when you are pushing 70 and on blood thinners. Not a complaint but i like the warmth.

Mmmmm.

Yeah... We've talked about the possibility of becoming snowbirds in a few years.

I got some fun seat time this morning. That is until the plow fell off because the latches opened up. It was 5 degrees and that is when the fun stopped.

No sir. I knew about them from reading the wealth of knowledge here on Red Square and figured that it wouldn't happen to me cause I'm special. I was gonna drill some holes and fix it this spring. For now I have ghetto fix of baling wire around the latches. I felt really special lying in the snow at 5 degrees and trying to get the plow reattached. Guess I really am special.

I've found that this year the cold bothers me a whole lot more than in years past.

Not quite pushing 70 yet, but that is not too far off in the distant future.

Me too... I've got two years to go.  It's easy enough to keep the body warm but the fingers and toes not so much.  I do have a very liberal supply of the "Hot Hands" toe warmer thingies.  They do work!   A little bulky under the toes, but I got used to that real quick.

Got some of those in the garage.  Probably left from my wife's dad.  He did a lot of ice fishing.

Hahahaha....

Me too.

Least that's what all mah teachers tole me.

On those brackets with no pin holes ....

I fabbed up a set for my C160 because I needed something with forward spacing. I don't have pins but I keep the bolts quite right. Stays fine.

I keep the plow on for 6 months or so. Not a big deal to change out only twice a year.

As far as cold toes, my best winter boots are much older than I am, wool lined, about 2 or 3 sizes too big.  They have all kinds of air circulation room and that helps my feet keep toasty!
