Well done Man!!

The transmission alone on the C81 is worth more than the $100. Good purchase.

Now that little square hood.

We'll need more pics to see it better of course.

It's in the 1965 to 1967 vintage. Starter/generator so it should be a Kohler.

Missing some parts and rear wheels look reversed.

Absolutely savable!!!

There should be an ID tag on the vertical surface just in front of the shifter.

:woohoo:

If you're going to drop the tongue of the trailer on the hitch you might as well fill it up! Like EB said, one at the front is '65 to '67.    :text-coolphotos:

The faded out decal on the 3 speed looks like a 500 Special decal. Maybe a it's a 500 Special that has had an engine swap?

:auto-checkeredflag:         Good eye, I couldn't remember where I had seen the long hood decal on a short frame before.  :bow-blue:

The 700 also used a long decal like that.

Great score!  Richard, there’s plenty more room on the trailer!  :ychain:

I was about half tempted to call you out for exaggeration there for just a second or two and then I realized it was Pullstart and I've seen what he can do so...

Carry on everyone!

The the bolt circle, like your spare tire maybe mounted from different holes, you can install the rope starter in any of four positions.

In its current position your pulling the rope to the left you avoid coming into contact with that lever, this will cause excessive wear on the rope.

Once bolt to the left will allow a inline pull.

My 2 cents.

Looking at the trailer suspension, one more maybe the limit before the suspension bottoms out.

The homemade trailer had a hard time with the wheel horse weight  she was alittle too bouncy on the road back home.
