The art in simple rust

Recommended Posts

Pullstart

I bought this PTO unit at auction a couple years back.  It has a 3 cylinder Perkins 3.152L diesel engine.  I’ve never tried to start it yet.  I did however just notice the cool rust on the rad. shroud!  Anyone know what the hood and rad. might have come from?

I've spent a good chunk of my life preventing, covering over, painting, fighting rusted bolts, trying to and sometimes winning the battle of trying to break apart things that are essentially welded together from being rusted together, oiling/greasing things and replacing some steel hardware with stainless steel hardware, to STOP the look and damage from rust!

I HATE rust! :angry-tappingfoot:
