Finished up phase 2 and 3 of the snow warrior tools, finally drug the blower off the trailer and uncrated and final assembly then unboxed the cab, assembled and installed in will say this cab is ten times easier to install than the  cabs and 100% more visibility plus way more room to move around in doors use zippers instead of hinges and latches and I put it on with little effort by myself. The snow blower is belt (like a roots type GMC blower) driven from the PTO shaft to the impeller gearbox is is very quiet during operation, has 3 sections of driveshaft from the tractor transmission to the sub frame then to the snow blower. Then put the rear blade on for added weight plus it may come in handy around the garage door, and other areas I can't get the blower in, if the snow doesn't amount to much I will just unhitch and install the front blade, use a .

As I have mentioned before I would be getting snow removal tools for my Mahindra eMax 22, the whole package plow, blower and soft cab, I had purchased a Kubota set-up a couple years back with the intentions of modifying it to fit/work with it but after careful consideration decided just to sell it to help pay for the correct set-up built for Mahindra (by Berco in Canada), I ordered it the end of October and its showed at the dealer in PA right before Christmas and I just picked it up Friday, and today got the sub-frame (which both the plow and blower use so you can switch between with ease) assembled and mounting brackets installed on the tractor frame (the only thing I don't like is you have to switch these brackets back and forth between this and the mower deck mounts "not quite WH easy" but after a few times it may not be so bad ), then installed the sub-frame , snow plow and ran the hydraulic lines and plugged into the loader/sector valve. The cab and blower assembly will follow within the next few days/weeks. Pics and a little video of it in operation.

Jim, from different forecast models you may get more than me if it stays along I-95 instead of I-81, who knows its may be nothing or it may be a "whopper" of a Nor'Easter. Either way I am well prepared.

They Weatherfrogs here be not a 2Week right this year. Told the whole Winter about „ catastrophic Snowmasses of 3 inch..“ 😂😂😂

Think somebody forgot to tell this clowns - hey, it‘s Winter So snow can happen thats normal in that season.

and 3 inch is not really much. And what you defined as „mass of Snow“ is in the eye of a beholder.

 

Out of that It‘s allway‘s better to be prepared for the worst.

 

Also this year only heavy Snow for 3 Weeks but also with good equippment you be prepared to have Fun and be good.

Nothing can shock you, i even thinkering on a Snowblower, because it‘s easier than only the Blade and FEL.

In your first Vid. the chimney you steer by hydraulics runs opposite my logical thinking from driverseat,

was that fixed or can this be changed individually?

 

i think when i put lever left, chimney should be rotated to left and vice versa.

it‘s just my humble opinion and also just a question, if it can be switched.

@Tractorhead, yes the hose routing connection points can all be changed to different ports, first 2 that I plugged in after removing the blade, after I got them exactly where I want them i will mark the hoses with the corresponding color tape or wire tie, usually red green yellow white.

For such purposes i like Colored Zipties, simply to mount and if things changin the can also be changed quick.

Nice Mahindra.That blower looks HUGE on it.Big storm commin' here tomorrow.Gonna last 2 or 3 days.The weather man first said maybe 4 to 6 in.Now they're up to 12 to 18 in.Hope they're wrong all together.Come on Spring........PS  I like the cab too.

Your eMax 25 has the 56" blower correct? It could just be my camera angle.

Yup,same 56 in blower.I guess I never looked at mine at THAT angle.Mine's gonna get another work out in a day or two.That tractor is one  of the better investments that I've made.

I might have miscalculated the moisture content of this snow a bit, even though it did good, the slush at the end of the drive from the DOT clogged the chute a couple times, didn't help the ground wasn't frozen and the soft clay soil was getting picked up along with grass either, definitely needed the rear blade for traction and ballast weight. Cab kept me dry and fairly warm has vents at the top of both sides keeps the fumes and fogging to a minimum. Here is the evidence.

Before I started last measurement was right at 7", by the time I came in it might have been 5.5" from settling as the temperature rose. Started snowing some real fine stuff as the sun was going down, calling for another 1" or so overnight and freezing rain.
