Have you seen the picture of my commando 8 pictured at Stone Henge in UK .

I spent a week with Mike and his family in 2014  and whilst I was with him I help him box up all the black special final edition and had a signed copy no1 from Mike .

Very special book to me

There’s actually three different editions, all from the same author. I’m fortunate enough to have all of them and even more fortunate to have them signed in person by Cecil Pond and Michael Martino. Huge added bonus is that two of them were on my birthday! What a great present ! Michael certainly did his homework on this, these books really are a wealth of information.

I’ve gotten about half way thru the book... and I would still like to find the tractor, I believe it is a 64 RJ.... with a woman riding the tractor from a nudist colony!😎

You have to buy the book... it should be a “must” for all RS members! It’s available on Amazon.

I just finished the book!! I’m amazed at what Cecil Pond did....WOW! The book went year by year thru the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. Well, I now have a fascination for RJ’s!! This is a “must read” for all Wheel Horse collectors and Wheel Horse workers! Now to buy every Wheel Horse!

I don't think Trina would approve...

If my memory serves me, she was in the first edition, censored in the second, and again in all her glory in the third edition.

I don't know why, but I bought three signed copies of the third edition from Mike Martino at the Wheel Horse show. Two remain untouched, and the other has a bit of wear and tear between pages 102 and 104.

Wouldn't bother her even minutely.

Pretty impressive they published something like that...
