I’m installing a nova ignition module and directions say to cut wire going to points but this does not work, should I be connecting to the voltage regulator. Directions are for a flywheel coil and K 341 has external coil and voltage regulator which makes me think Install is different

It is not connected to the regulator.

They are for magneto ignitions only and of those only models with a single magnet in the flywheel will work so I'm told. Have never got one to work either.

A simple push mower or chainsaw may be the only applications.

The Nova module works only for a self energizing magneto system. You have a battery ignition system.

I Yeah I found out and went with using a four pin GM module after doing some research supposedly it will work. I greatly appreciate you responding,  the seller took all my tractor info and told me it the nova module was compatible after I even told them I read where it not for a battery ignition. Respect brother and have a good day
