metalhead0920 10 #1 Posted October 17, 2020 Ok so I'm guessing that finding the same tires and/or rims for these old wheel horse tractors is nearly impossible...am I right? I cant find the size even. I have 16x5.50-8 on the front. Never mind the back for now. The closest to these I can find is 16x6.50, will that fit my rims? And as far as rims go, I cant find anything. I did find some 16 inch turf saver types at Lowes, made by Arnold. They fit on and will work but I'm gonna have to add a few washers cause the rims are not as wide as the originals. I would love to hear how you have overcome this dilemma and any bbn other info you may have on the subject. Thanks guys.
ebinmaine 62,971 #2 Posted October 17, 2020 6.5 width will work fine. Why replace the rims?
squonk 38,845 #3 Posted October 17, 2020 Too bad you weren't close. I have a set of the correct tires and rims for that tractor in my loft.
metalhead0920 10 #4 Posted October 17, 2020 The ones that are on it are very rusty. I need to restore them. I want something to use in the meantime. If I could not find a tire to fit them then I would have to replace them. But if 6.5 will work on them then I wont have to.
