1277

I have a 1967 wheel horse 1277 and I was wondering if anyone could help me locate manuals or tell me exactly how rare this thing is. I’ve had people tell me that it’s really rare and others tell me it’s common so I have no idea. I got it off of a trade for a c-81. It’s fully functional and someone installed headlights.

That's a nice looking rig and very very capable as well.

The reason people think they're rare is mostly a misconception.

During a lot of the 1960s the model number included the model year.

There was a whole bunch of tractors that were unique to a certain engine, transmission, and model year. So yes they're rare .. but not really. Because they were made before and after that as well with a different model number.

IF that thing is running as well as you think and it has a good strong transmission then what you have is a GREAT WORKER.

:text-+1: Nice rig you have there, but certainly not rare by any stretch of the W-H imagination.  :dunno:

Nice tractor!! The hydraulic lift is not real common on a 1277.

I love my 1277 which has a loader on it. Even without the hydraulic lift it's a keeper! The long hood and woodgrain decal look great!
